Miscellany Monday

{1} I finally got Autumn to sleep. I always told myself, never again will I rock my baby's to sleep because it does not stop as a baby. Here I am sitting here rocking Autumn to sleep. It is one of those days when she just will not fall asleep on her own, she just cries and cries in her bed. She would cry for an hour if I let her, I feel so bad, so what do I do? Pick her up, yes. So bad I know but what does a mom do when her sweet baby is unhappy? I also always said after having one thumb sucker never again but now I am tempted to let her. Craig says no way, to hard to break. I just wish she would take a nuk! 

{2} I have an obsession with dry roasted peanuts. I eat them all the time, I think I go through a container every 2 to 3 days. So nummy, hehehe.

{3} We got our pictures taken yesterday. I really love what I have seen so far. It is so hard to get all 7 of us somewhere and still be happy and in one piece, so it was such a blessing for her to come to us. She is just starting out taking family photos but she did great! I am so excited to share them with you. But here is just one as a teaser till I get the disk.

{4} It is the last week of school, what are we going to do with ourselves this summer? Any suggestions?? I was going to drive to Wisconsin but there is no way possible, even if I had help. I could not make it all the way to Wisconsin with 4 kids, a dog and a very unhappy baby is the vehicle!!! Autumn detests her car seat! So now to find fun cheep things to do here. 

{5} I don't think some people know what it is like to have an unhappy baby. I really don't wish it on anyone but for once can someone truly understand the stress it causes a momma!!! Can I have a break?!?! Don't get me wrong I love my sweet baby Autumn but just some days can be very HARD!!!

{6} Can you believe it my house is clean???? I cleaned 2 of the bathrooms Saturday and cleaned all of the patio doors. Craig vacuumed the house for me, what a sweet, wonderful man!!! I cleaned the kitchen, my bathroom and finished the laundry for the day.   

{7} I am off to play with my new Gypsy (lol no not a person) while Autumn naps and Zander plays quietly, I hope.

Dreamin on Thursday......

So can you believe another one of my dreamin on Thursday's happened again, actually two of them! First my sweet friend Dorcas sent me a card and a Starbucks gift card inside. She is so sweet!!!! Second i know I told you I am getting a Gypsy but I did not tell you how. Well, God works in mysterious ways. It is so crazy because there was a giveaway going on for a Gypsy and I entered. I had been talking to God about it and telling Him how I would love one, so I gave it all to Him and left it in His hands. Well about 10 minutes later, Dorcas texted me and told me guess what she got. Yes, a Gypsy and she HATED it. So this went on far a few days he telling me how she hated it and I just kept telling her to try to love it, lol. So she decided to try to sell it. Well, it was not going well, to may questions and potential problems. I talked to my sweet hubby and he said I could get it. So Dorcas and I made a deal. She is getting what she was dreaming about and a few extras, shhhhhhhh don't tell (Not that she does not read my blog) and I am getting what I was dreaming about!! I am so excited it will be here later today. It is seriously amazing how God works!!!

So here is my Dreamin on Thursday this week.........

#1 I have been thinking about going to San Francisco lately, LOVE that city!!! I so want to go on a little mini vacation even just for a long weekend.

#2 Some Ghiradelli chocolate and there ice cream is to die for!

#3 A bread bowl from Boudin Sourdough Factory. This sourdough bread has to be the best in the world! If you ever get to San Fran you have to try it!!!

#4 Still dreamin about my camera I would love to have but it shall wait. I have gotten so much lately and I am so blessed!!! 

I came across this saying today on a different blog and I thought it was so TRUE!!!!

Stupid Doctor and Fav Photo Tuesday or Wednesday......

So yesterday was Autumn's well baby check up. She will be 4 months on the 11th, I can not believe that!! She weighed a little over 10 lbs and is 22 1/2 in., she is only in the 5th percentile, a little peanut like Z. Well, she got her immunizations, I had been thinking about waiting a few more months to do another set since it has only been a few months but her last shots she did so good, no fever or any reaction so I thought it should be fine. So I went ahead and did it, after the shots she got a fever (which is normal for my kids), her eyes were swollen and just all around fussy. I had to give her Tylenol every 4 hours to make it tolerable. I was changing her diaper this morning and noticed her legs had a rash all over and were swollen. So I called the doctor and brought her in. What a waste of time!!! This doctor I saw has to be the stupidest doctor ever. I did not see my normal Dr. but his assistant, I was beyond furious when I left. I think he thought I was some stupid young first time mom. He proceeds to tell me it is not a reaction and then corrects himself and says yes it is a reaction and it is probably a soap reaction. Being the nice, passive person I am, I just did not say a word and rolled my eyes as he was not watching. HEE HEE. Sometimes I wish I was not so passive! I still can not believe he was trying to tell me it is a soap reaction. I think I know the difference between a reaction from soap (my children have sensitive skin) and a shot reaction! So what would you do? Do I call my normal doctor and complain or just forget about it???

Autumn is doing better, her fever is down, her legs are still a little swollen and the rash is almost gone. She ate good and is napping. I just wanted to be on the safe time but I guess I just wasted my time!
